My wedding was held at Destrehan Plantation and was featured on the television show Four Weddings, which airs on TLC. I along with three other brides attended each other’s nuptials as guests, and judged each other’s wedding in multiple categories including venue, dress, food, and overall experience. On finale day the winning brides husband steps out of the limo! Thanks to Destrehan Plantation, Capdebosq Catering, and many other fabulous vendors, we were crowned the winners!! We received a cash prize, and a dream honeymoon to Portugal! I planned my wedding for two years, but it took only two months for me to decide my wedding had to be held at Destrehan Plantation. From the very beginning Paula and her staff were great to work with! I am so grateful they choose to cater with Capdebosq Catering because everyone still raves about the food at the reception! My wedding was everything I dreamed it would be! |

As a lifelong resident of Destrehan, Louisiana, I have always known that I wanted to have my wedding at Destrehan Plantation. So when I got engaged, the first thing I did after jumping up and down was call Ms. Paula to reserve my date. I had a wonderful stress-free experience with Ms. Paula. She answered any question I had and made great recommendations. On the day of my wedding, the grounds were still saturated with water due to a substantial downpour of rain. The staff quickly prepared a place for my ceremony under the carriage way. Destrehan Plantation was easily the best vendor I worked with and would gladly recommend them to any bride looking for a venue. |
